A Touching Story
"WD" is fast becoming a pretty famous figure among worshipers. He has always known he was supposed to be on the cover of something. After he was turned down by Cheerios and Campbell's Soup, he went through a significant time of soul-searching, but came up on the other side with a renewed faith. He remembered the words of his great-uncle, Hubert after a Sunday night service long ago in Barnswallow, West Virginia: "WD, there's just something about your face. It's so humble... so resolute... so different! God's going to use your face."

Then, a couple of years ago, WD came to work for WholeHearted Worship. When we told him we were considering him for the cover of the Worship Digest Build-Your-Own-Songbooks, that would be used around the world, he didn't say anything. But later, after we made the decision, WD was beaming as he told us that being on the cover of the BYOS was the fulfillment of promises from long ago. "This is my destiny," he told us.
