The 3rd FreeSong is We Will Walk Before You by Gerrit Gustafson.
We Will Walk Before You is a song about commitment to obey God. Gerrit wrote the song as a family worship song for his own children and some of their friends who were staying in their home. Remembering campfire talks at summer camps when he was young, Gerrit envisions this song being used with young people for times of spiritual challenge.
Jesus' call to obedience in Mt. 7:21 was the inspiration for the song: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."
